BREEDERS OF PORTUGUESE WATER DOGS

This web site is dedicated to providing information to any persons interested in learning more about the Portuguese Water Dog. You can find general information about the characteristics of the Portuguese Water Dog on our About PWDs page and Breed Standard page. We also provide important considerations for those interested in buying Portuguese Water Dogs on out Buyer’s tips page. We are always available to answer any questions that you may have about Portuguese Water Dogs. If we can’t answer the question, we will refer you to someone who can. We are avid “Hobby Breeders” of Portuguese Water Dogs. We are firmly committed to breeding top quality dogs. We are members of the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America and Portuguese Water Dog Club of Canada as well as a member of the Canadian Kennel Club in good standing. In March 2019 Jennifer Westerhof joined the Keeva Bay team as my co-breeder. Jennifer is actively involved as an owner/handler in the Keeva Bay breeding and show program. Jennifer has always had a natural love of dogs and fell in love with the Portuguese Water Dog as she assisted me with our Desi X Salto litter in the spring of 2019. Her background in biology and physical sciences will aid Jennifer as she trains, shows and continues to expand her knowledge around breeding these amazing animals. Jennifer will be mentored by myself in all aspects of our breeding program and administrative responsibilities with the Canadian Kennel Club and Portuguese Water Dog Club of Canada and America. Jennifer shares Keeva Bay’s dedication to integrity and breeding the very best PWDs we can. Jennifer is a member of the Portuguese Water Dog Club of Canada and America as well as a member in good standing with the Canadian Kennel Club.

We are located in the Kitchener-Waterloo area of Ontario Canada. Roughly 90 Kilometers East of London, and 90 Kilometers West of Toronto. Visitors are welcome by appointment only. If you would like to book an appointment, you can contact us via email from the Contact page.

Occasionally, we have puppies for sale. All Keeva Bay puppies are CKC registered, vet checked, dewormed, microchipped, and have their first set of vaccinations prior to placement.
